Day1 Hometown - Vancouver - City Tour
★ Welcome to Vancouver! Let us greet you at the visitor counter (international flight) after you have collected your luggage. A complimentary half-day city tour of Chinatown, downtown, Granville Island, and Stanley Park for guests that arrive in Vancouver before noon, with a bonus mini ferry ride of the beautiful False Creek, home to the 2010 Winter Olympic athlete village.
★ From Seattle : Please meet at luggage belt #13 at approx. 12:00pm (Surcharge of $50/way/person). Join our complimentary mini-excursion of Seattle touring Space Needle and fishermen’s wharf (rather than Vancouver) before transferring to hotel in Vancouver.
Day2 Vancouver - Kelowna - Okanagan - Winery - Salmon Arm / Vernon
We will start our journey via the trans-Canada highway and head east for Kelowna, the heart of the Okanagan Valley. A variety of fruit orchards such as cherries and peaches also surround this area. Stop at the renowned winery to learn about the basics of wine making. Wine tasting and purchasing of the popular icewine, red or white wine will be available. At Lake Okanagan, let us listen to its legendary story and search for the lake monster “Ogopogo.” Settle down at Salmon Arm / Vernon in the evening.
Day3 Salmon Arm - Emerald Lake - Banff Nat’l Park - Gondola - Calgary / Canmore
Proceed to the Eagle Pass and visit the “Last Spike” of the transcontinental railway where it connects the east and the west. Travel through the Rogers Pass and Emerald Lake. After a thrilling gondola ride to the summit, you will be captivated by the majestic Rocky Mountains. Next, discover the town of Banff and Bow falls within the country’s first national park. End the day at Calgary and you may visit 1988 Winter Olympic Game venue during your leisure time. [* At Banff, guests upgrade to Banff International will stay behind and have free time at night; those upgrade to Chateau Lake Louise will be transferred to hotel by dusk. Calgary stop excluded.]
Free upgrade to Canmore Hotel of Rockies (Double Tree by Hilton) or similar; will not visit Calgary. (Departure dates: 5/1-6/13, 7/1-10, 9/30-10/12)
Day4 Lake Louise - Jasper National Park - Icefield - Peyto Lake – Golden
Journey to the Lake Louise, often referred as the “Jewel of the Rockies.” The panoramic view of magnificent snow-capped mountains surrounding the emerald colour of the lake attracts millions of visitors worldwide. Enjoy an atmospheric lunch at Chateau Lake Louise (meal plan) and a promenade along the lakeshore. Then, head for Japser National Park’s Columbia Icefield. Ride on the specially designed “Snocoach Ice Explorer” that is destined to take you to the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. After brief stops at Peyto Lake, Bow Lake and Crowfoot Glacier, we will stay overnight in Golden.
Day5 Vancouver – Hometown
We will arrive at Vancouver Airport around 7pm. We are not liable to any delays caused by weather, road conditions, and other circumstances.
